Pistol grip XL1100

Sanded it completely down and carved out the finger grip. Thinned it out at the grip as well. I find it a little thick. Pic won't resize for some reason. I'll try again later. How do you delete a post?

Trying again to attach pic. Stock is now primed.
Finally got it up. Not sure what I was doing wrong during resizing. One day you do several, couple days later, blank slate.
I'll update when it's fully painted.

This was the pic I was trying to upload first. Sanded the finish off with 80 grit. Didn't take long at all.
Just took it out for a quick shot today to see how it feels in the real world of shooting. It's so much better. I found it to be quite thick to hold before I did this. So next step is a dark military truck flat green and black box liner on the grip.
I'll post pics. Getting the resize thing figured out, slowly.
The little dimple in front of the trigger is for the palm of my thumb. I find that if I hold there, my shots are more accurate.

Man that looks great. I think that will improve your shooting quite a bit by helping you get the same hold every time you shoot. I have seen some really great mods here on this forum. I bet when you are finished you might see some others done just like yours. I just might be one of them.
I really like the work you have done on your grip a lot.
I am starting to spend more time with these guns than my powder guns. I love to see custom work people do to their weapons.
