You will really want a long (6'ish) micro-bore hose as if you use a short stiff hose it will move you (&your poa/poi) around. On a side note I have had a probe break while filling, 18" steel braded hose w/quick connect and half a fill probe, the first impact hit my arm as hard as a hammer and all that could be done was to head for cover untill the 3,000psi tank was empty. Don't forget, regulators can fail.... and if they do, you end up with full tank pressure in your gun.... I wouldn't even consider using a 6000 psi tank without fitting a 5K burst disc to the regulator output.... Even at that, 4500 or 5000 psi in a gun designed for 3000 will probably lock the valve up solid.... and maybe blow out an O-ring and scare you to death.... Bob
Have you considered tuning/adjusting your guns and adding a blast tamer (your Scorpion should actually have it all ready)? I got 30 30+fpe shots from my Dynamax with a shot string like this:That was with 21.3 grain baracudas and lighter pellets were shooting at around 920 fps.
