I bought this when I was 9 years old. It was 21 dollars and some change then and was the first thing I ever bought on credit.

Yes there a lot of childhood memories that go along with it. It shoots fine but my eyes are the only problem as I can't focus on the sights without glasses and with them the target is blurred. LOL... So the plan is to pass it along to my grandson and hope that he will do the same some day.

I gave this "Benjamin Franklin" to my ten year old grandson for his birthday yesterday (01/08/12) . You should have seen his face........:)

I know he will he's just a little older than I was when I got it. It's been cleaned up and resealed new valve and shoots like new!Thanks for the commit aack .

Have a friend that has an old benjamin from the 60's he needs to have work done to.
We live in RI. Who could he send his to, that could repair/restore it.
