Crosman offers barrel clamp 459MT "intermounts" http://www.crosman.com/airgun-intermount-for-crosman-models-2250b-2260-2240-1377c-1322c-pc77But they reportedly do not hold strong enough for accuracy over the long run. They simply "pinch" onto the barrel
I sent you a private message. I am looking forward to trying out the mounts. If I can I want to use a longer barrel so that I can attach a suppressor. So which barrel do I need to use so that I get a good fit between the original breech and the barrel. My goal is to get the 1377 quiet enough that I can use it to shoot squirrels while deer hunting. It never fails that I see 5 or 6 squirrels and no deer when I am out hunting.I have placed some felt between the pump hand grip and the air tube which keeps the gun quiet while pumping. I think that with a longer barrel I can attach a suppressor and if I can get a scope attached to the barrel I might have enough accuracy for squirrel hunting. This is my plan which may not work out.
I'll give them to that original poster if they'd like to try them, pm me if interested.
Mr. Lizard, how quiet does your suppressor make the gun? I am wanting to go with around a 14" barrel so I can add a home made (*^%. I am really wanting to quieten down the gun so that I don't spook deer. Why do you want the scope on the breech instead of the barrel? It seems to me that the pellet goes where the barrel is pointed not where the breech is pointed. Is the problem that with the scope mounted to the barrel that the scope gets loose and is no longer in alignment with the barrel?
