Thanks to everyone for the replies. I'm still struggling with my decision. On the D34 - Grimeszee has done what I am trying to do. Transition from pcp to springer. He has done it and is happy with his D34. However, more people seem to recommend the HW95 slightly over the D34.On the HW95 - Solid recommendations for this. And the similar HW98. I may need to do more research here as the 98 appears to be a heavier, better furnished HW95 (maybe too heavy?).On the LGV - I'm reading positive comments, but mostly in other threads. Also, noting that weight could be a real negative for me with this one. I'll have to focus on the lighter synthetic stocked model. Finally, noticing (in other threads) that people who buy LGVs, seem to think their LGVs are better than their HW95s. I need to do more research here. Hey Craymar, how about an update on your LGV?Other - I'm afraid the HW80 would be too heavy after I scope it. I am planning on a FFP mil mil scope with a 30mm tube - not a lightweight. I may need to give further consideration (and research) to the HW50S and HW85 suggestions, too.I still welcome advice and recommendations.Still pondering.
I just picked up .22 HW95 and 34P T06 and this is my 1st thoughts with about 100 rounds fired. Note: shooting lefty due to left eye dominant.I was also looking at the LGU and LGV but figured I could have both HW95 and P34 for same price. Also the scoped weight of the L guns was likely 11lbs + just more than I initially wanted.
