Hey riverdrifter,Nice groupings for the 3rd time out, especially for a .25 caliber. After you drop the sub->optima scope, the groups will improve even more. Take a look at the Hawke, Leapers or centerpoint 3x9x40 scopes or better.Have fun .
I have leapers/utg scopes on most of my airguns. From a Hatsan 125 vortex .25 to a ruger airhawk and a RWS 48. I have had good luck with them. As stated above they are a little heavy.
I had the Leapers True Hunter 3-9x50AO on my new Hatsan 95 for only about a week - couple of hundred shots before it failed. The wire reticle turned 15 degrees to the left. I don't think that it was from dieseling, as I cleaned the gun and barrel, then shot a hundred or so with open sights. I suspect that it might have been from the chronograph, where I didn't have as firm grip of the gun as I do normally. So you might consider an etched reticle scope. None of my other Leapers have failed on Crosman NP or Hatsan 125.
Is that shooting position comfortable? It looks rather awkward-but if it works for you....-Yogi
