My 2nd 2240 will arrive tomorrow. I already have a PRod grip assembly ready, as well as a steel breech. I intend to make this into a 1740 to go with my 2240. I also have a 177 TKO heading my way as well. I am debating on whether to use my 1377 barrel or to order a LW barrel from Crosman. It's around $50. I am leaning heavily toward the LW. I will be adding a matched set of RB grips. I will scope this gun as I have the 2240, with a sweet little BSA 2x.

You can use any number of things fon brass or nylon washers to washers punched out of thin plastics in your recycling bin. If you shim too much, the trigger group can bind with the Side plate installed. It is difficult to remove all wiggle so do the best you can.
