The other day I cleaned my Recluse with 2 cotton mops. The first one with goo gone, and it cam out filthy. The second one dry, it came out dirty but ok in my opinion. I ran about 100 pellets through it and today I tested it out. At 40 yards that sucker was very accurate and went through 1/2" plywood with no problem on medium power. The we took some .080 aluminum and at 50 yards on high power it was still accurate and went straight through the metal. I am very impressed with the accuracy and power of this gun. The weight is another story, but if someone broke into my home and all I had was the Recluse I would shoot once and then use it as a baseball bat. The trigger is getting much better.

What bullet/pellet is the most accurate for your gun so far?

Goo Gone? I've never heard of using that before but if it works I might try it.The sooner you send yours to Will the happier you will be - the trigger on my tuned Recluse breaks at just over 1# and is very crisp. They are kinda heavy and cumbersome. I have one of those Firefield scopes on my 500cc (great glass!) and a 2" OD x 10" long Clague LDC...not a light compact shooter but it IS a very accurate and quiet Hammer! My only real complaint is the lack of swivel studs for a sling. They need to make a barrel band that has one.
