I hear you Manny. It took me awhile to get use to the looks, but looks aren't everything. This is a purpose built machine. It's a work tool and a very good one.

Well I got Will's goods today and started taking the rifle apart to install the baffles and the depinger. Hoping to finish it up so I can take it to the range to zero the new scope and dial in the JSB pellets.

Started to tear down the rifle to install the new baffles and depinger. It's a little tricky but I'm in no hurry. You can also see that I switched over to a smaller 3-9X32 scope and I added another fore grip for better balance.

Tony, why are you replacing the baffles when you're using a LDC ? I know Will's baffles are quieter than the factory ones, but does the LDC not quiet the rifle enough? Just curious.

I got a really good deal on the ldc and couldn't pass it up. This only after I had ordered Will's goods. If it doesn't do much, I'll sell it.

Went to the range today but the weather was so bad, I couldn't get much done. Raining all day and strong wind gusts. I did manage to zero the scope at 30yds. with the JSB Quarter Bore pellets. Tried to do a 5 shot group but with the wind kinking up so much it was impossible. As far as the baffles, depiner, and the ldc, it's dead silent. The guys told me they couldn't hear anything. All I could hear was the hammer. The trigger needs a little getting use to. It's not bad, just different from my other guns. I did manage to lighten it up some. I will get some more shooting time next week and try to do a grouping test. I really like this gun allot. It's perfect for the jungle/bush.

Yesterday my good friend Onorio asked me to get rid of more iguanas and I decided to try out the polymags in the bullpup. Wow what a wallop they pack! Was taking shots at 40 yards at 966fps . One shot, one kill.

Just did the same thing, .357 and the 4-16X44 SWAT Scope w Wheel ... PA came through with a great deal on a refurb, although it arrived sans Breech O-ring and with only one mag which I had to disassemble to unjam the EunJin pellets that were stuck in it. Long story short, PA is making it right (actually above and beyond right) and even with the lack of seal it's doing a pretty nice group at 40yds with the .360 Roundballs, slightly better with the JSB .35's (although at $0.14 each, THAT's not going to be my love affair, LOL) ...
Mine has a bark from H&*^(* - but I'm assuming the blown Breech seal isn't helping - Haven't pulled the barrel yet but it looks pretty straightforward, the two top set screws under the plastic pad, right?

You'll also need to disengage the trigger mechanism. Then you will need to spread the chassis so as to be able to pull out the action.I went for the 25cal because of Manny's advice and because the ammo is a little cheaper.
