Good advice. I switched it out already. One thing I found odd: After I switched out the fitting, the first time I pumped the rifle up with my Benji hand pump and opened the bleeder valve, air just kept going and going and going. Finally I shut the valve and checked the pressure on the gun. I'd lost over half the pressure!Finally figured out that the fitting was not tight enough. (Hand tight won't cut it) I grabbed a deepwell 15mm socket and tightened the heck out of it. No issues since.

This was the 2nd or 3rd time this has happened. I just grabbed a 9/16" scoket and tightened it a bit more. I hope this has it fixed.
