That is good news. Hatsan stepped up and did the right thing by taking care of one of their customers. You must be happy..
I sent a rifle to a member here. It got damaged and I refunded the money (Yes it was insured, but easier to get the bolt fixed than file a claim). Sent it to my tuner and all is good. Just too bad I lost a sale.
Did the replacement BT65 arrive?
Did Hatsan send you one of the good BT65's? An accurate shooter?
no bent barrel this time?

An accurate shooter?I got it today and only had about 30 minutes to test it (straight out the box) before darkness. I got the scope zeroed at 25 yards and was able to do a one hole group of 9 shots. The bolt is pretty stiff so I will have to smooth it out but so far everything seem fine with the gun.
.....Hatsan wouldn't ship a broken air gun. They have to much to lose. ........

Re shrouds in general; because they are easy to knock out of line, made of soft aluminium, for hunting I would not use one. I have had a Daystate shroud and it was damaged so easily. A steel moderator with internals made with washers, steel mesh, scouring pads or felt, is often better or at worst is similar in performance.
Thanks for the response. Do you know whether a moderator entirely constructed of parts incompatible with the high pressures of even a .22LR, would be federally regulated?
