Just based on what you said and the way it was said, you make it seem like Hatsan took your rifle dropped it and then said f it and sent it back to you... that doesnt make any since why a business would do something as dumb as that.

I sent it for something different from the barrel issue and they repaired it, but when it was returned I noticed the bent shroud. When I notified them it was damaged and sent the pictures they thought just the shroud was damged and sent me a new shroud. After I replaced the shroud I noticed there was still a problem because I could not zero the rifle. At this point I sent it back to them for their tech to see exactly what the problem is. Hatsan have been pretty good about trying to make everything right so far.

I talked with rick eustler and got it taken care of.
That's messed up, cause usually you pay more for FedEx, than USPS. "I really hope everything works out okay" It not a good feeling fixing one problem, only to have a more stupid problem like this arise. Trust me I know the feeling.... Good Luck !!!

That is really messed up. I would say it was FedEx. Hatsan wouldn't ship a broken air gun. They have to much to lose. Onto another subject. Norman you have a real nice collection of powerful air guns, it keeps getting bigger and badder. What rifle is the most accurate out of your Hatsan's and Sumatra?

Norman you have a real nice collection of powerful air guns, it keeps getting bigger and badder. What rifle is the most accurate out of your Hatsan's and Sumatra? To be honest, they're about the same. I have Crosman 4-16X44 side focus scopes on most of my guns and I am satisfied with them. The one thing the Sumatra have is the adjustable power wheel. This is a great feature because it shoots just about any pellet accurately. On the first click it shoots crosman ultra magnum domes at around 850 fps and they're as accurate as JSB heavies. I use 3 clicks for the JSB heavies and the great thing is the POI doesn't change from the crosmans. The heaviest pellets I have are the 25 gr JSB monsters and I shoot them on medium.
Was your rifle shipped in the original Hatsan box with original packaging? If so, that might have been the problem if your rifle's packaging was anything like mine. I just got a new 95 this week and I was kind of surprised how thin the box was and when I opened it, I was outright shocked that Hatsan had entrusted their product to such flimsy packaging, with not much more than two little (7"x5"x2") blocks of Styrofoam and not much else. The Beeman and refurbished Benjamin I bought had significantly sturdier, thicker Styrofoam packaging in their boxes. Luckily, the rifle was fine when I opened it up and took it out of the bag.
That is good news. Hatsan stepped up and did the right thing by taking care of one of their customers. You must be happy..
