.177 Hatsan Galatian - Spare \ Tuning parts ?

Hello all !
Those of you who have read my previous posts know i have been troubled some with my Galatian.
But i have chosen to keep it and just work out the issues with it.
So far i have ordered up:
Lothar Walther 24" barrel (should arrive in 3 weeks time)
Robert Lane Regulator (should arrive in 2 weeks time)
ParisP - Airgun Artisans Moderator.
But if i need more parts where do i get them ?
Since i am going to give the rifle a down tune to 18.5 ft\lbs to increase shot count i am thinking i might need a lighter hammer,
or can i compensate by loosening the hammer spring to achieve the same results ?
I have no idea how to go about things, but in my head it seems logical to set the regulator for 120 Bar and then screw the hammer spring until
the fps starts to drop and then just tighten the spring ever so slightly. I dont know what material is used to make the hammer,
So i am uncertain if i can reduce its weight by my self.
Also i am going to expand the TP to 3.5mm
Any thing else i should do while i have it in parts ?
Best Regards
Andreas

I believe rsterne's mods for the AT44-10 can be applied to the Galatian. I know they're applicable to the BT65. If ii were you I'd start by removing the reservoir & blocking as many holes as possible with epoxy steel & leave the one or two that line up with the TP open. Then I'd start adjusting the hammer spring till I got the desired velocity down to where it should be.
What I did to my BT65 also is to block a few of the valve inlet holes to further help with the efficiency. Right now with this setup I get about 35 shots at 32 fpe. Since you're looking for way less fpe than that your count should be able to to reach closer 60-65 shots, maybe more depending on how efficient you can get it.
Most people have reported wonderful results using these mods, and have foregone using aftermarket parts like regulators.
WRT the TP, I'd advise to not open it up till after you tried the mods & added the regulator & be very careful when you do. Too wide a TP will have a negative impact on velocity without increasing efficiency. You don't want the air to be able to expand too much before it reaches the barrel.
For this task you will definitely need a chrony.
Hope this helps.

Thanks Mod90,
I am going to try the valve plugging and see if it increases efficiency without messing with the TP.
But i have another question, do you or anyone else know what size screw PartNR: 2639 is ?
Its the screw that holds the cover plate for the hammer adjuster i believe.
But these screws where horrible quality.. i used the correct size allen key but it stripped the head as soon as i started twisting.
So i want to replace most of the screws with decent SS ones.
I have the exploded view, but not the part list that explains the numbers. Any where i can find this ?
I contacted Hatsan 2 weeks ago regarding the barrel issue, but they still haven't responded.
Not Hatsan Usa nor Hatsan Europe.. customer service at its finest... :p

I'm not sure what size & thread that screw might be. Sorry. And no luck finding a parts list for it yet. I'll keep looking.
Seems to have 2 of them. Are you certain you used the correct size allen key to remove it?

Yea i belive its the right size, it fits very snug. But the metal is very soft..
I got the first screw out with the allen key no problems at all.. but the other 2 are more challenging.
So i will take the one i got out with me to the hardware store tomorrow and buy another one just to be 100% certain.
