Hey Sandman,If you don't hunt, there is no advantage of the .22 cal. vs. the .177 up to 50 yards. With longer shots, you will likely have better accuracy with the .22 cal. (the additional weight helps retain stability) and the larger pellet will deliver more FPE needed in hunting.The .22 cal pellets are generally (only) a couple buck more than their .177 counterparts (25% more at the most).I prefer the .177 cal., but I don't hunt.........Kirk
I returned a 135 because it felt so heavy I thought it needed wheels. Now I have a BT65 Elite that is just as heavy and I am tickled pink... go figure
DW, I am interested in your experiences so far with the 135 Vortex in .25. I have a gentleman that is interested in trading me the same gun for my Umarex Octane, and I am giving it serious consideration. My BT65 Elite is in .22 and I want a .25, so even though I know how heavy the gun is, I am considering the trade.
