I think this is all im going to need or am I missing some thing ? , what do you guys think of this set up ? this will be my first PCP rifle so Im kind of new to the PCP scene . please give comments and suggestions .I know the tank is on the cheaper side but Im trying to work to a budget . Get a SCBA tank. You will be glad you did. I just upgraded from a Ninja 90ci tank to a Great White and I couldn't be happier. In my opinion you will be doing better with a Ninja tank or a hand pump instead of the scuba tank.

Joncooper,You are just experiencing the "growing pains" (that we all go through) when stepping to the "Darkside" (PCP guns) .don't feel like the Lone Ranger, haha. There is a LOT to consider and understand. I have both the large 88 cubic foot 4500psi tank, (purchased used through MAC-1 airguns),and the smaller 90 cubic inch tank, (available directly from Crosman for $439 plus shipping).http://www.crosman.com/gear/pcp/81001The little tank is nice to have for hunting situations, as it will fit into a backpack. But remember,... you are only going to get 8 to 10 fills on your rifle,... (PROVIDING, you do not let your rifle go below 1700psi),... then you will need to go back to have your tank refilled. The First thing you need to determine is : Do you have a Local place, that can even fill a tank to 4500psi ? (not all places can). This is most important.Then,... you need to go talk to them. not just call them. Ask them what type of fill fittings they are set up for. Can they fill through a Foster Fitting ? OR,...Do they have the necessary adapters to fill directly to THE PARTICULAR TANK VALVE that you will be purchasing ?Without that information, you may be chasing your tail before you even get started. Also a thing to consider when filling the smaller tanks is,1- it usually costs the same to fill a small tank, as it does a larger tank. (at least that's the case in my area)2- most places that can fill to 4500psi, want to do it VERY slowly on the smaller tanks. (this is because of the heat generated by filling to high pressure) So plan on it taking about 45 minutes to an hour for it to be ready to pick up, (and that is only if they were to start filling it right when you dropped it off). Sometimes they want you to drop it off and then pick it up tomorrow.Determine all of that first, and then you can make an educated decision on what filling method and equipment, will best suit your needs. oh yeah,.... one other thing,... ... once the PCP bug bites you, (and you have all the support equipment in place), there are very few here who can fight off the addiction to add more guns to their stable. If you find that you do not have a local filling place available to you, or you are not willing to incur the initial costs, then possibly a hand pump will best suit your needs. If that is the case here, be sure to do your homework on the various available hand pumps. (they are not all the same)... and some of them can be hooked up to a small inexpensive air compressor, to be used as a booster. this has helped many guys here, in reducing the amount of strokes required to refill their guns each time, (but this also comes with a greater effort required to push each stroke).Hahaha,....This is only the beginning my friend,... ... Welcome to the "Darkside"
I finally went with the Marauder .25 which I should be getting in a few days , and a guppy tank with all the fixings from http://www.airtanksforsale.com/... which Ill be ordering on Monday .Hey guys thanks for all the very useful info much appreciated .
