I shot the 105 swc out of my ace 357 1-22 twist with pretty good groups. 1-1 1/2 groups at 50 yards depending on what kind of day I was having. I did have them sized to 357 and were 40-1 if I remember correctly. Its been a while since I shot any of them. I do find that as the bhn goes up my accuracy suffers. Anything over 10 and its not a pretty picture. Mine definitely shoots much better at 357 than 356, no question. Swc makes a nice sized hole. I switched over to the eppug and the bbt in fn and hollow point and have pretty much stayed there.
I'm still looking for inexpensive bullets for my RECLUSE. I'm perfectly happy with my cast- Lee 125 358-125-RF which casts pure lead to exactly .358 on 90% of my bullets when cast "cold", so to speak... or maybe 50 to 100 degrees above melting. Hot, they always seem to have more shrinkage. My accuracy with this is FOR ME quite acceptable, as I'm shooting with open sights. Others, such Cedric have indicated that they are good for hunting, but not necessarily PRECISION. One other gentlemen I sent them to had very acceptable 50 yard groups and over 4" at 100. Not sure what to make of that. I personally have yet to make a more than 2" group at my 35 yards or so I have been shooting at in my yard and I want this for hunting, so I'm confident with that bullet, but I'm still looking for cheap castable bullets for the .357 / 9MM.. I became aware of the 356-95 this morning on a cast bullet video for a 38 special cast and was intrigued by it for the Recluse. I believe that if you don't shoot a "choked or tapered" barrel, you need to start off by "choking" it yourself, meaning force a slightly overbore bullet into the barrel for accuracy and velocity. Soft lead IN MY OPINION is better than some of the alloys I understand some airgun bullet makers use if for no other reason than you don't get as great obturation in the bore and my cast .360 round balls are an example of that compared to the Air Venturi samples I have.. and before anyone thinking I'm ragging on Air Venturi, I'm not... bullets are bullets and bores are bores and softer LARGER bullets are in MY ESTIMATION better for accuracy. So, since the calipered size of the above referenced 95 grain 356-95 actually cast a .358 as my .358's did as advertised I was curious if anyone has tried these in a 9mm/.357 Airgun. One more question... has anyone tried using paper patched or plumbers tape around a pellet or bullet to bring them up to diameter?I was watching Tofazfou Condor-7mm video the other night of one of Bobs bullets for the 7mm... and I'm impressed with the accuracy of not only Cedrics shooting, but the fact that the bullet didn't let him down... quite the accomplishment.Aloha... Tom

TomI have shot them in my Bulldog sized to .3575 and at 50 yards they shoot sub 1" I was very surprised at the performance I got. These were shooting in the 785 ish fps range as I remember.wll2506
Howzit Tom, I have shot them in my Ace .357 as well and they seem to shoot really accurate close range...20 - 30 yrads. ~1" groups.
Will be interesting to see your results!
