Now I am really looking forward to mine arriving. I will definitely go with a metal piston head with O-Rings for this Crosman.In about a week when my Crosman 140 arrives, I think I will have a lot of fun .

Yep, the more pumps the louder it gets.... I stripped the stock to bare wood (acetone and lacquer thinner and gloves).... I then sanded it and used a Gel stain (Colonial, I think) to bring out the grain.... and then many coats of Watco Walnut Oil, wet sanded each time with progressively finer abrasive, ending at 600.... then a coat of Walnut Minwax....Bob
They do have some nice lumber on them... I think you are encouraging me to do mine.
