Title: Vintage Slavia 624
Post by: bobbyjim on July 04, 2012, 01:34:48 PM
Here's a few photos of my Slavia 624. Appers to have never been refinished as this is how it looked when I bougth it. No rust, bluing is better than some new rifles I have seen lately.

No idea what year it is but shoots nice and it's "Mouse Fart Quiet". Makes a great indoor shooter and from reading reports I hear it's about 375-400 FPS.

Look at the top of the heel on the butt and see if there is a month/year ("5 66", etc) stamped in the wood.  Some might have this.  Here's a good link that might help you ballpark it.

Looks like a nice light, handy gun.  Like you said, a great gun for indoor use.  I imagine its super easy to cock since its so quiet and not a power house.  How's the accuracy of it?
