Is there a safe way that I could connect a Shoebox directly to my Mrod and be able to eliminate and filter any trash and/or moisture ?

Well I did a search and found that I could do it but not sure if I would want to take that direction.

Get a low pressure filter and dryer and put if BEFORE the shoebox. Between your shop compresser and shoebox

I just might go that route. I did read something related to what you suggested but I wasnt 100% sure about it. I will certainly keep that in mind.
Thanks

Any filter placed on the intake side of any compressor won't work as well as one on the output side, because the relative humidity is MUCH higher after the air is compressed.... Having said that, it's way better than nothing.... I use a 1 gallon expansion tank between my shop compressor and the ShoeBox, with a water trap before the tank (then the tank itself, which has a drain), then two Silica-Gel moisture filters before the ShoeBox inlet.... As long as you recondition the Silica-Gel by baking it before it loses all it's blue colour, I don't seem to get any water at the output of the ShoeBox.... If I let it go until they are completely pink, and then bleed off the ShoeBox after use using the bleed screw on the ShoeBox, you can see a mist/spray of water coming out of the vent hole in the side of the block next to the bleed screw when you vent it....

Thanks for the input. First I want to do it and then I dont. Back n forth...so on and so forth. Anyway there is no doubt that I
must
slow down. Im going to call this local paintball store that is open this weekend and see what they charge for tank fills or if they do them at all. Finding a stable source might be an issue. It also depends on how much we shoot the rifle. Time will tell, along with several other factors.
