To Jeff and everyone else who purchases SS Screws do not use them in Aluminum with out using some sort of Anti Seize, SS Steal and Al are very dissimilar metals and the screws will Gaul easily and be near impossible to get out. SS Steal in most other metals is still iffy because the SS is so hard and a slight misalignment will cause damage to threads. Another bad combination is two dissimilar grades of SS, this is one that can easily result in two parts that become welded together never to move again....
Sent you a pm, cherokeesteve, a member here, has screws with a bigger hex size. I replaced all mine with these screws. I believe he had a classified here or on CAPOF at one time.

SS is not really that hard ...... from my limited experience using it and i never had any corrosion issues with SS or #8 hardware . hot dipped galvanized fasteners corroded badly on my first antenna after just a few months ..... i'll never trust HDG stuff again .
