Same trigger in a pistol?

I have really been enjoying shooting the Venom (at 15 yards, I'm knocking 1" x 2" blocks of wood (1" facing me, 2" tall) with fairly decent consistiency, 20 yards is do-able, but not with the remaining pellets I have (too light).
Anyway; I was thinking about a pistol, and see crosman also makes a piston pistol -- it lists a 7# trigger, is it the same trigger as the rifle's? (ie: a grt trigger is recommended?)

If your talking about the trail pistol. From what I have heard, you don't want it!! Save yourself a few dollars and buy a 2240. It's co2 but you won't be disappointed.

I agree with 28 . Bad reviews on the trail NP pistol, Personally I would go for the 2240 great shooter or if you don't mind a little exercise the 1322 is another great option if you want a .22 or 1377 for a .177 pistol.

well, ok! I don't want a co2, as I don't want to load up on cartridges when we head out.. piston or pump... I like the pistons for the easier cocking... but if the pump is that much better... thanks.
