I will be tesing H&N sniper lights today they a bit heavyer than Vortex Ex but lighter than Crosman HP 14.3 gr.

Hi Bruce,Thanks for sharing that... How did you cut the extra groove for the scope? Any insight into how to do this the right way would be appreciated!
I measured the groove slot then took the tool to Lowe's Hardward store and purchased in new flat file that match the opening. Then Measure the slot spacing needed and use two of my lessor V groove scope mounts to guild the file. Note make sure you make the extra Grove deep enough so your scope fits flat to the mounting. My first attempt was .05 off and caused the gun to shoot wrong pass its site in range. what happens if grove is not deep enough is the bolt hits the mount holding the scope high on rear mounting slot.
