just looking for opinions on a scope for this gun. not looking for a high end target scope. this is going to be a hunter so just something descent and appropriate. just got this thing and I love it. first pcp and am already hooked. on a side thought, recommendations for a good pellet. using h and n barracudas now. seem almost a bit too long for the cylinder. don't seem to perform bad, however I haven't even started to sight it yet. tooo much fun just shootin stuff with this thing

i have the 44 long, though mine is a side bolt model. i am using a 3-9x40ao utg scope on mine. it works for me out to the 50-60 yards i have taken it so far. any of the new utg true hunters would be great. they make it in a 4-16x model if you prefer more magnification. what caliber did you get? mine is a 22. i am using eun jins and they just barely fit the mag, so you have to be careful with loading. i need to get some jsbs to try in it, but i used it for fox hunting this past season and i wanted something heavy. they dont jam but i have not needed a rapid reload yet either. the gun just doesn't miss!

There are plenty of good inexpensive scopes out there. I'm happy enough with the Crossman Centerpoint 4-16x40 that I've purchased five. One of them is on my .25 Hatsan.
Check out the reviews. They are mostly enthusiastic with a minority taking a dim view.
Last time I looked they were available at AD, Pyramid, Amazon, the Wall, and plenty of other vendors. Prices run from about $125.00 down to a low of $58.00 (refurbished from Crossman) Here's the refurb link just in case you're interested.

Good luck with the Hatsan.

I should have mentioned this. The scope rings that come with the Centerpoint will not work on your Hatsan.
