Benjamin 392 twist rate?

The most accurate ammo in my 392 are the Eun Jin domes. The Eun Jin points do not deliver acceptable accuracy, oddly enough. But what boggles my mind is that I can stack the eun jin domes all day at ten yards- but I can't do it with any other pellet. The bore of my gun I think might be a little large, as I discovered when removing the paint from the muzzle that most pellets slide right down the bore with little resistance. The eunjin domes fit good however, and the points fit even tighter. Benji hollowpoints and CPHP's are grouping ten shots in about half an inch ctc at ten yards, as are most other pellets. Eun Jin points are about a 2-3" vertical spread, but the Eun Jin domes are the best. I don't know if 's because they fit the lands best, or if the twist rate might have something to do with it. I previously believed the super-heavyweight ammo only shot well out of PCP's with enough power to put adequate wind resistance on the skirts for stabilization but I guess I am wrong. Anybody else experience something similar?

the CP Hp,Points and domes wont shoot in mine either. They seem to fit tight enough though. The RWS Super H-Points stack them up tight to 25 yards.I just bought a bunch of them but it frustrates me a cheap plinker likes expensive pellets.I have tried measuring twist rate like i do for centerfire rifles with no luck. The rifling is too fine and a tight fitting patch wont grab enough to rotate the bearing handle.I usually use an oversized bush but am reluctant to use a brass brush in that bore.

My Benjamin 342 .22 likes Eunjin 32.4gr pellets. I bought them to shoot in my springer but decided that they would cause too much wear and tear. I had put them up intending to use them when I get a PCP rifle. After I bought my 342 I decided to give them a try and they are the most accurate pellet I've found as of now. It's weird but the Eunjins hit the same spot as Crosman Destroyers at 10 yards. The JSB 15gr and 18 gr, Skenco 20gr pellets I've tried are okay but not as good as the Crosman Destroyers and are not even close to the Eunjin's. The Eunjins group better and hit harder. I don't have a Chrony so all I can do is judge things by the sound of the hit. The sound of a 32.4 Eunjin pellet hitting a phone book is very different from any other pellet I have shot in my 342. I have to believe it is shooting them a decent velocity.

I wouldn't be surprized if your 342 were laying some serious smackdown with those heavy eunjin points. My 392 is shooting about 540 fps on I think ten pumps with the 28.4 grain domes and it is not modified. If I remember correctly I am getting pretty close to 700 fps with the 14.3 grainers on the same charge, so the difference is three full fpe. About 20% more power just by using a heavy pellet!

All I know is that it's hitting hard. I'm going to order some of the domes along with the pointed Eunjin pellets next time to see which of them shoots the best and I'm going to have buy a Chrony.
