Need help reassembling trigger assembly on Benjamin Trail NP

I bought a GRT-III trigger and made the mistake of pulling the pivot pin out for the safety. Now when i put everything back together (with stock trigger) the barrel wont cock all the way. I THINK it something to do with the piece of metal and spring that the pin runs through but I can't find any exploded diagrams for the Trail NP that show me the proper way to put it back together. Does anyone have any experience with this.

I also emailed you the instructions for the trigger. It is at the bottom of the Trouble shooting guide I sent you.

I see I'm one of many... :-p Thanks for the links. The only one that goes into the actual trigger assembly is the Gamo schematic which is close but does not show how the spring is attached. Is the purpose of that particular spring to make the other metal piece move away from the gun (downward)?
Here is the spring and the other piece in question (is this called the sear?).

I got it finally!
Sorry to be a pest guys. I looked through the troubleshooting .doc that CDT has and the 2nd trigger assembly is the same as mine. that gave me an idea of how it attached to the pin, one of my problems was the pin was slightly bent (guessing from when i had it together wrong and tried to cock it). I have everything back together in stock form and just shot 5 rounds through it. Now to install it the right way!

It can be tricky for sure. Glad to see that you got it back together and working. The lever that is in the picture is called the intermediate lever. The lever that is below that is the sear.

Gotcha, is it also called the 'strut' in the diagram? New trigger install took me about 5 minutes after I got everything working the was it was supposed to. Got to listen to my wife yell at me that if i ever read instructions I could have saved myself two hours screwing with it. :-) I argued that I know much more about how it works now!

Okay, THIS is the help you are looking for: newbielink:http://www.gatewaytoairguns.org/GTA/Parts_Schematics/CROSMAN,_GAMO,CHINESE_TRIGGER.pdf
[nonactive]
But, beware, it's backwards and upside down if what you did was what we did. So, the little trick that doesn't require completely removing the Trigger Group and working back from step 1 is to slip the spring and Intermediate Lever back into place, under the little adjustment screw, with the spring in front of the lever; i.e. not engaged, and insert the pin. Then, GENTLY pull the spring back and around the Intermediate lever with a pair of needle nose pliers. Be careful not to over-stretch the spring! And put the E-clip back on. If you don't break anything, that should have you back to step 1 of trigger replacement, and ready to do a Trigger Mod. ;-)
