I'm in the market for a new gun, & I've narrowed it down to 2.It's going to be either the Hatsan BT65 or the Evanix AR6, both in .177.I need some input from you guys, namely, which would you choose & why, and feel free to share any data you have on either regarding power, shot-count, accuracy etc.
Thanks for the input guys, but I should have mentioned a couple details. The caliber MUST be .177(backwater laws), & I'm just looking for another gun that could be used as a dedicated hunting rig that generates as much power in that caliber as possible, while having good ergonomics & a good trigger that would preferably be adjustable. The gun should also be easy enough to tune if I choose to.Gator, I've got an AT44-10 short in .177 right now, & I'm very happy with it. Absolute tack driver at 30 yards, literally, & generates almost 27 fpe over almost 30 shots. I plan on detuning her to somewhere between 7-10 fpe to use as a designated plinker/paper puncher with a nice high shot count. I already have a Hatsan fetish, most of the AG's I've owned over the years have been Hatties, & they do deliver the goods.Manny they still make them, & we have a dealer that carries them here in T&T.Tell me, what do you think of the AR6, trigger shot count & accuracy wise in comparison to the BT?
Well I've decided on the BT65.And I just pulled the trigger. Just went to the dealer & picked it ul, man this thing is sweet. And tomorrow's a holiday, so guess what I'll be doing all day long? Thanks a lot for the input guys, it really helped in the decision.
