I want .22, I left a message with mike and hopefully he has one in. If not I will wait till one shows up. Why are these guns getting hard to find?
You really need to decide what you want to do with it.Power for hunting, or shot count for plinking/target shootings..Or combination there of..Before you do any tinkering, When you get it, clean the barrel, shoot it over a chronograph, to get a baseline where it is shooting. And maybe shoot a tin of pellets through it to learn its ways. Then remove the hammer/striker, and pay attention to where the part that strikes the valve is.Then as you adjust it in our out, you have a baseline and a known setting to return to.The spring preload is non easily adjustable like a marauder, but you can control the striker length. That's the only power adjustment out of the box, you can go with heavier springs, or spacers to increase the preload. And you can also make other size transfer ports.Simply, make a plan, shoot it to see how it shoots, record your starting point, and then work from there.
I downloaded chris's book and have been reading through it. Can someone explain what the various acronyms are, such as LOP, POI, etc.?
