Real nice gun hope to see the results when you shoot it. Hope you can stretch it legs and go out to 70 yds and some more. That BSA scope is great
Congrats on the new Condor! Let us know how it shoots. BTW, where exactl is the extra barrel bushing located? I only see 2 screws on the side of the frame which is for the 2 bushings it comes with from the factory. Wouldn't there be an extra hole on the side (and bottom) if there was an extra bushing? Or are they on the top & bottom of the frame? There is another screw up front at the bottom of the frame which is also used to fasten most aftermarket shrouds. Could the extra bushing be using that? You won't have a problem with the 25.4 JSB Kings since you have the 18" barrel (less power than 24"). It should shoot them just fine in the mid-high 900's with the power wheel turned down. The JSB King can be very accurate at that velocity. You now have some tuning to do. You need to use the Chrono to discover the sweet spot, ie: best starting pressure, best consistency & PW setting, etc. Then I would do some long distance target shooting. HarryPS.How come you didn't get the spin loc tank with the gauge?
I see the spin lock now. I need a new monitor. Mine is too dark and I can't dial up the brightness or contrast. It's only 7yrs old Looking good. Have you done any Chrono testing with the Kodiaks? If the tophat is out too much you can always screw it in to the 0.070"ish to get some more consistency out of it. Once you get it where you like it, it's always good to apply loctite blue because those tiny grub scr3ews will come loose. You will need a 0.05" hex key if you have not done that on your TalonP.Harry
Congratulations, nice gun and real nice scope. Is it quiet enough for backyard shooting?
Congratulations on the new Condor .25 nice rifles bought one from another member a few months back and it was accurate as all get out I just couldn't feel the love . Not the rifles fault. I just like multi-shot repeaters better and really have plenty of accurate single shot springers to fill that need.. Again good luck maybe I'll give the Condor another go down the road sometime
Yes, you should get a Chronograph. It's the only way to get the most out of your Condor. Wow, it sounds like you have a CRT! I only got an LCD monitor 2-3yrs ago and it was used from my brother in law. I just looked at the back of the monitor and it was built in March 2006 so it's >8yrs old I bet I got you beat with my PC though. It 's a Dell Pentium-4 3.2 built in May 2004! Got it brand new in 6/04. 10yrs old and it rocks. I got my $ worth 5 fold from this PC. I just don't feel like getting another one when this one works so well and it boots up in 14 seconds. My wife's new one with dual-core and all that takes over a minute to boot up and it's supposed to be 3x faster. Too many drivers and &^^& that need to load with Windows 8. It doesn't matter how much memory you have (she has 8GB) or hard drive space. It's still has to read the hard drive to load a ton of stuff. I only have 34 processes running on my P4 with XP and MS Office and Norton loaded, compared to 100 processes that most new PC's run today in idle mode (no programs loaded). Anyway I can't believe the power supply on my Dimension 8400 has not died after 10 years (or anything else for that matter). But I think this will be the year that I might have to say goodbye to my trusty Dell. I know they don't make them like this anymore, so I will probably built a custom one myself, or look at HP or others. Or just stick with my laptop, but I really don't like laptops like a good tower, except when I use it for work.Harry
yes she is ! those condors are beast and very accurate and longer yds ..i had one months ago and regret selling her but i,ll purchase another sometime in the near future .try placing a tri rail on it ,i hear it helps with frame flex ...jorge
