Now why don't I ever come across deals like that... I was considering getting a 2240 just a little while back. Maybe it's for the better that I don't, though; I'm gonna have to stop shopping around and find some self-restraint if I'm going to have enough money to make it through college . Then again, what do I do with my college money if I get a full ride scholarship?
As long as it functions properly I would enjoy it just as it is. At least until I used up all that CO2. Congratulations on the great find!
Awesome find Ron... just curious.... Why not the Disco tube? You would need the gauge and block tho.

Congratulations on the great find!yep, I agree. this is probably sound advise. I can resist modding it,..... right ?,.... Right ??,.... RIGHT ? ? ?Quote from: avator on July 29, 2015, 08:04:30 AMAwesome find Ron... just curious.... Why not the Disco tube? You would need the gauge and block tho. I'm tossing around on which tube to use this time. The Disco tube gives more volume, but won't it will require a 24" barrel too ?, ( I think it will), and that is correct, it starts getting the rifle a bit longer than I want it.Then there is also the possibility of the P-rod tube. I believe it is one inch SHORTER than the 2260 tube,... but it is a 3000 psi tube. (Naturally that would then require using the P-rod valve too). I seem to remember recently seeing an aftermarket Extension tube for the P-rod somewhere. I'll have to see if I can find it again. If it is 3 or 4", that might still allow a 18" barrel to be used (?). not sure on that yet. gotta do a little digging around and measuring. It would be nice to have a 3000psi carbine with 18" barrel, with the airtube just slightly shorter than the barrel. If I can get it to 3000psi safely, and the tube just a tad shorter than my .25 barrel,... then it will be a no brainer. So many options !
