Going back and taking a second look at these numbers, I'm confused.Maybe someone can explain this to me ?Why is it, with all 3 of these strings starting at 1800 psi, and using the same 14.3 gr pellets, that the highest FPS would not be when the string shot with the adjuster turned all the way in ? ? ?String #1... power adjuster all the way in..... Highest FPS is 659String #2... power adjuster all the way out... Highest FPS is 762String #3... power adjuster halfway.............Highest FPS is 858What am I not seeing here for this to make sense to me ?also,I got my numbers today for my gun, and I'm a bit cornfuzzled with them too, But I'll wait to hear what others here have to say on the question above first, (then I'll post my guns numbers and see what you all think is going on there too)
That's with the 2260 tube right? Not bad. I'm just waiting for the gauge and gauge block to put the disco tube on. I think I might need a disco spring as well, we'll see. I was looking around the shop, I thought I had a 24" .177 barrel but I can't seem to find it. I wasn't planning on an 18" but I have one if I decide. Looks like Crosman may be getting another order for odds and ends for Betty Lou's gun.
I think I mentioned before, I have a late'50s wood Crosman 180 stock. They are pretty raw trigger setups but, the "cool" factor would be over the top on a 16" - 18" shorty with 2260 tube in .177. If I use the o-rings and a light spring, maybe even shorten the valve stem a bit, I might be able to slow it down and get a ton of shots in the mid to high 600s. Lots of tinkering options. Can you say "Holy Loud"? I need to read up on filling some of the volume in the valve.

Is that a custom shop part?
