I shot one of my 22 cal Sumatras and noticed it sounded very anemic. I turned up the power to max which normally would cause 16 gr pellets to go supersonic. Again very weak sounding. I pulled out the chrony and discovered on the lowest setting the pellets were shooting 550 ish fps. On the highest setting they were only going 600 fps. Anyone else ever had this problem and have an idea what could be causing this?

Bent valve stem or valve poppet collapse... I suspect the poppet....did you store the rifle at full pressure?
