I've been wanting one for a while and Pyramyd put them on sale for $99.00 for a couple of days. Perfect timing. What should I know about these rifles?

What should I know about these rifles?Save another $99 for a replacement trigger, aftermarket spring, a scope that can take a beating and other stuff to make it a reasonable shooter.
It's here and it is worth every dollar. The stock alone is a hundred dollar piece. Shoots pretty darn good right out of the box. After a good cleaning and lube with 50 or so pellets down it's throat it's even smooth to shoot. Punches through a half inch fence plank. NPSS in .22 doesn't do that. That 87 is pretty well behaved.
Mine came in today also. Yes - well worth the $86 (Used from Pyramyd for $79.95 - 10% discount, plus shipping). Looked good except for the styrofoam that was fused to the butt pad. I used paint thinner to scrub it off.It is a .177 and shoots CPH 10.5 at 930fps average. I have a 19x125 RD gas spring coming in for it. Hope to keep the velocity about the same or a little lower at 920fps and get it even smoother . Not bad out of the box, though not as accurate as my TF99 was.

Never had a spring gun apart. Any tips would be appreciated.
