Dug out the 2289 backpacker I picked up last year from yellow

I decided to test out 2 to 8 pumps on it to see what I was getting.  I was thinking of using for a short range starling killer.

I had one of Rockers LDC's I picked up at the last fun shoot and decided, why not toss it on the 2289.  I figured it would get it out of the parts box and onto something.  What I did not expect (though should have) was how much quieter it made the 2289

I think for the distance to my feeders (17 yards) she just may work.  sighting in is next.

Couldn't you get those numbers to print any smaller than that?

Anyway, I think I'd go to 12 just to make sure.

yes, much clearer.

Not bad numbers.
I was thinking of converting my old rear cocker to .22 with a 12" barrel when I redo it.

I tried 10 pumps since it seems that is OK on this model ... 430 fps for 5.87 FPE
