My NP2 will only shoot Predator PolyMags with some consistency. I guess it is a blessing in disguise, because I do want to hunt with this gun. Most of the time I'm just target shooting in the back yard so I wish it would shoot something a little cheaper. Just ordered pellets at $15 for a tin of 200. This price is up there with .22 LR and about the same as pellets for my .25 cal. Will it have any advise effects other than poor shot groups to keep shooting different pellets through my NP2?.
wow way old thread...lol i really never even consider gamos as the ones i tried were always horrible in my guns. but that is a crazy price. the sig pellets are pretty crazy priced also. who knows ?just get normal priced ones .peacekj
My 22cal Trail NP shot Gamo Rockets best. When shooting this pellet at a backstop the BB in the pellet would come off and make for a game of shoot and duck.
I won't pay 10 cents a round for pellets. I can load virtually every caliber I own for that in powder burners. Everything from .223 to .444 marlin.Personally I have had very good luck running all my .22's with CPHP's or CPUM's. Both can be found at walmart at around 1.2 cents a round. And they perform well enough for what I expect of them. My .20's get the Benjamin's, price has been going up steadily for 3 years but I am still sitting on a good stash. And my Beeman P17 prefers pointed in .177, so it gets Crossman Premier Pointed. Also reasonable. If I hunted a lot or did competition shooting it might be a different story.
