Is it this one here Dave?

...Above is the 200 series so it could be the 300 series which is about 1/8" taller.

Nice looking set. If the one I'm looking at now doesn't get too far out of reach I will get those. This other one is the
old school high gloss black, low profile. Obviously I'd have to move the mount forward, but it might be a nice contrast against all the silver.
Thanx again.

Picked up a pair of the newer version Leopold mounts for under $40.00. I like the old school style & really like the dovetail clamp. I think the high gloss black will go well with the scope & rifle, & help break up all the silver. Scope badging has black, the mount has black underneath flat surfaces, & at the ends, & of course the hand guard. I thought the rings would be the easiest part of all this. It's been a PITA. Oh well, hope it works out.

I was disappointed with my first attempt at polishing the scope mount. I buffed it cautiously not knowing how the aluminum would hold up. I was very pleased when I found out it held up to a lot more heat/pressure. I think it turned out better the second go-round.

Thanx. I think they'll work out ok.
Had a heck of a time with the scope. The place I purchased it from said it was on back order for another year. So had to go with plan B. $30. more...& still waiting to get verification on; "shipped".

The first Swift scope I purchased was pushed back a year. The second one (through Amazon) was due to arrive this Friday. It too has been pushed back to next Tuesday. Something tells me it will be pushed back even further. If it does I will look for something else. I'm not about to pay an additional $100.00 buying direct from Swift. At that price I may as well look at Leopold.
This has been a major PITA.
...Checked again...now Amazon shows it shipped...I need another cup of coffee

Thank you Tom.
I've had a lot of expensive scopes in my day but this one beats them all & for much less. By far the clearest optics, target & reticle acquisition outstanding (even for these old eyes w/o glasses) at just about any distance, & light transmission is excellent at dusk. The only draw back is a locking ring at the power adjustment ring. All in all, so far so good.

Looks great Marty. You could have left the base black as you have a good bit. Especially, with that sunshade on. The base does look great removed of its finished though.

You're right Rob. I think the mount would have worked either way. The sun shade was a pleasant surprise. Might have to rethink the red gasket out front though
