It beats me why the FWB 300, Diana 75 and LG-380 are not still widely copied and used. They are all great rifles.the SPP and precharged took over, in my opinion, because they are easier to maintain, not because they shoot better. If you put the 'old' rifles in the stocks like the fancy new ones, few could tell the difference in accuracy and repeatability.I remember when the single pump Pneumatics came out in the ten meter world, and it was about the 'dead' feel and the stocks... not the ability to make an X. They 'felt' better and that psychological and physical feel improvement made everyone gravitate that direction. But then...I still like muzzle loaders...so take that from where it comes
Me I know my Daisy is not Olympic "Match" quality but honestly it still shoots straighter than me out to 25 yards...
