Basic, small fire starting kit (at the VERY least, one of those fancy flint and steel kits)water-proof matchesgood first aid kita small fishing kita good sheath knife and stoneA pump rifle/carbine/pistol w/a rebuild kit (orings mostly, carry a few of these sealed in some good oil or grease)pellets of coursesome emergency rations (MRE's are pretty good)Canteen, or something somewhat small to hold water (something rugged)a survival straw to get you going (more than likely you'll be boiling water in a bug-out situation)a bottle of water purification tabs550 cordget on fleagay to find a good used military tarp and or poncho linerIf you REALLY wanted to spring for it, a 1 person waterproof tent/shelter/sleeping bag looking thing. They're pretty cool, and really light weight. Used military stuff is a very viable option... Try to stick with the modern stuff, it tends to be a bit lighter.All of this of course is subjective... Depends on how much you're willing to carry- me? I'd have my old ruck w/a an old issued sleep system, my beanie, goretex top and bottom, some light weight poly-pro, clothes for 2 days (more than that in t-shirts and socks), a spare pair of boots, shaving kit, plus what's listed above.
