Double-check before firing it with that handle, on my 909LH the offset screw that holds the cocking lever in place slides under the receiver when fired - being as your new handle screws directly straight in where the screw was (without the offset plate), I would be scared that it will smack the receiver pretty good when You shoot. My main concern (other than the stress to the receiver and handle itself) would be incomplete travel not allowing the valve to open all the way or correctly, just an observation. Never having owned a DC I can't be certain so use your own judgement, it sure *looks* identical to the 909LH though.
Ballistic Products sells a .500 Roundball, ...at that price it would be smart to try it out

I drilled and tapped a larger (1/4 20) hole almost to the back of the original cocking handle slot.If you look close at the top picture you'll see the bolt is all the way forward and there is plenty of room between the handle and receiver.
