Worst thing of a bent barrel in the upward position is that the farther you move back in distance is you will have to adjust the elevation. The gun is shooting UPWARD IN elevation VS straight for the trajectory.
My apologies if a ask a dumb question: does this trigger also work in a Benjamin Trail NP Hardwood? I was hesistant to buy a grt-iii because usually grt-iv's are advised as replacements for 'plastic'/ polymer triggers, and the trigger in my NP Hardwood is made from somekind of plastic/ polymer.
Air rifle hunter,The same exact thing happened to my venom while cocking. I didn't cock it entirely and bam it shot up and scared me half to death. Then I got my grtiii trigger and put it all together and tried shooting two days later and my POI was almost three feet high! Then I dialied the scope all the way down and it was still almost a foot and a half too high. Then I noticed while inspecting the scope that my barrel appeared to bend up from where it meets with the chamber to the tip. Surprised I tried to see where other point of the bend started and it appeared to be that the linkage pushed the barrel up and the breech wasn't leveled with the chamber... very frustrated I took out my new trigger and put the old one on and exchanged it for another. Haven't gotten it yet but hopefully it'll be the last time this ever happens to me.
