Go to the Crosman Custom Shop online, and walk through the steps to buying, and setting up the way you want, a new 2400KT. I have the KT in .177, skeleton stock, about a 15' barrel. This thing gets about 45 high powered shots, and is the most accurate airgun I have. It totally humbles my Crosman 1077, my 1322 carbine, 1377 carbine, Model 66, and kills both of my springers. Super easy to shoot great groups. I get a fair number of center to center groups of 0" to 5/16" rested at 11 yards. I think you can still get one with no rear sight and unscoped for about $85.00 plus shipping. Uses one 12 gram CO2 can. You want it super backyard friendly? Get a TKO long muzzle brake. I can use mine at midnight to shoot rats and no way does anyone even know I'm out there.

I would give a hard look at the Benjamin Summit NP2, 189 bucks. Mine arrived today and it is shooting plenty accurate for hunting right out of the box. Put 50 pellets through it, it will quiet down, stop dieseling, pick your favorite pellet, zero it and you will be in business for sure. It cocks smooth with a smooth shooting cycle as well.
