I hope you like it, Brian! I've been eyeing the Summit up since it first hit the market, but I have to sell one (or probably 2) more springers before I can justify buying one.
I got one in .177 cal from Crosman for $141 shipped with their Tues coupon. Shoots pretty hard. 10.5 crosman magnums around 930 feet per second. I think the trigger is kinda heavy but hoping it breaks in. Still trying to figure it out with hold. Might like to be held a littler tighter than other guns? Need to shoot it a lot more yet. Kinda wish I would have gotten a .22 cal for this power level. Also I think a guy should have just went with the Trail 2 with up graded scope and sling. I think its going to be a real good shooter after break in.
You won,t be soory in your Summit purchase. Have had mine for a couple of weeks and have shot the *(&^ out of it. Just got my chroni and ran some crossmann premiers through it at 805. Most accurate break barrel I have owned. Have taken a couple of Jack rabbits,a oppusom, and assorted feathered vermin( starlings,Hosp, euration doves). Great gun you will enjoy it. Wolfer
