Have you tried contacting your local Fish and Game Department, perhaps they could clue you in on farmers or land owners that may be having pest problems and might be receptive to letting you shoot on their land. Just a thought..Jeff
Ask the DNR about public land in the area. When I lived in WI there seemed to be a fair amount of it. Go to their web site and search public hunting.
Don't think for non game species in and around the buildings you would have any problem. If you are hunting game species a hunting cert. and small game license would both be needed.Don't ask for any compensation for ridding the farm of pest, cause then you would need a pest control license and cert. for you and your business. Also don't take the DNR's word for it .They have a way of only telling you how they want you to believe the law reads.Look up the regulations
No.Target shooting is not permitted on public hunting grounds.
Chaindrive.... I also live in Sheb. Co. between Plymouth and Cascade.. hyz.. there has to be some farmer around that will let you set up, we used to use shotguns for pigeons all the time..we would just stop at random farms and ask, pretty soon we had a 'route' of farmers we would visit on the weekends.. if you are near me, and a responsible person, i would let you use my outside range...and if you wanted long shots, well, my back yard is a 40 acre farm field
