Just picked one of these up to try to re do. Wood stock/forend, metal receiver, screw on sights( missing) brass bolt.
Has a round bb cover(?) and appears to missing some kind of emblem from the right side of the stock. And no grooves in forend, straight.
Any information would be appreciated! First 3 digits of serial are 107, so I haven't figured out the manufacture date.
Thanks in advance!

Okay,(was going to edit/add and couldn't) more info...
Turns out the barrel is rifled. I just went through the schematics for 760's, and this may be a phase one due to the two piece bolt.
with a wooden stock(missing emblem) and rifled... they went all out for Western Auto!

1st var....NOT.
The early ones only had a two digit # on the metal pump tube plug. The two piece plastic and brass bolt was an early hammer drop model. The 107 would be OCT '77.

Yes, that would put it at Variant 5, 77-80. That's the schematic I found,Phase One.
I had read that when Crosman made them for other brands(Sears,Wards, etc) they went all out. This Western Auto had some kind of seal or emblem in the stock. Like to see what it was!
Thanks for the response!
