Wendell,
I've had one for 5 years. Picked it up at a garage sale for $3.00. It leaked but I resealed it (EASY) and it is the most accurate BB pistol I've ever shot. I shot several 3/4" 5 shot groups at 10 yards with it. Bad eyes (69 y.o.) so I mounted a 4X scope on it. I leave a CO2 cart in it and it holds forever. I enjoy mine.
I've actually taken several HOSPs with it at 8-10 yards.

Thank you Floyd for the response! I thought I had remembered you having one.
You can mount a scope on these?
Anyway, got this today, (in the original box with manual) and a Crosman 338. Yard sale, $25.
Daisy's holding great, the Crosman held 12 shots and then laying on my chair about 20 minutes. then it let go. been hitting the seals with oil, crossing my fingers.
SUPER happy with the 1200!
Love the feel of it,and ADJUSTABLE sights!
Thanks, take care!

YES to mounting a scope. You got a good deal on the guns. Enjoy. Oh, I found the picture of the 5 shot group. Maybe a hair more than 3/4".

Now,that's cool! And what a terrific group from a "BB gun"!
Mine's still holding gas,got to try it out today. With the open sights and my eyes it did all right. I'm impressed. They put quality in them back then.
Fun times ahead!
Thanks, Floyd, for the response

I'm a big fan of the 1200. All the 1200's I have had were very accurate shooters and the gun is a marvel of simplicity. Very easy to work on. I'm surprised at it's accuracy considering that the barrel acts as the hammer.....sort of. I think part of it's accuracy is that the trigger pull is way lighter than a semi auto Co2 pistol as you cock it for each shot.

After shooting this a couple of carts it started to leak so I hit it with some Pellgun and it stopped again. Cart face seal I believe.
I'm fascinated by how great it shoots. A smooth bore! Loving the trigger and adjustable sights.
And now I see there's also a 1270...chrome.
Thanks for the response!
