10-50, red illumination, side focuse, improved dust caps over my old hawke sidewinder.
Ok I got this some time back and said something about it, but that gun I was going to put it on hasn't made it to me yet.
It's all good because I bought a 357 slayer and it showed up recently.
Early impressions.....I really like the glass it's clear.
I can shoot 100 yards and see my bullet holes at min setting of zoom.
I like how many hold over lines this scope has, and did I say anything about the glass being clear? (Lol)
One thing I haven't said is my favorite scope is a Leupold VX-lll 4.5-14x40mm, this hawke ED may have a chance to change that. (VX-lll is not a high dollar scope at $599 but it's been a great scope for me)
Cons____big and heavy.
Pros_____everything else and flip dust covers are a plus!
This will be on going as it's still to early for me to be sure but so far I really like this hawke ED
So far it's been worth the sticker price.

I meant my leupold is not a high dollar scope compared to what some leupolds cost.
The hawke ED is a high dollar scope compared to other hawke scopes.
