But I'm going to play with what I've got for a while and maybe do some mods.I'm kind of at a different point. I have many. But shoot only a few. And I do want more rifles, even knowing I have many I won't shoot often. For me, I only have a few higher end rifles. The majority of mine were impulse buys, or tuner projects, or deals I couldn't turn down. And while these served their purpose at the time; wether it be as a project, curiosity, or just a plain old "fix", I don't really enjoy shooting them. I would like to pare my collection down to just those I actually enjoy shooting but... It can be hard to part with even the ones I don't shoot. Some of it is nostagia. Some of it is because I worked on them myself. Some I like to have just for reference. But if I knew now, what I didn't know then, I'd have a few more "good" rifles I actually enjoy shooting. And a lot less "cheap" rifles. Its kinda hard to set down my D48, or TX, Then pick up a crosman, and convince myself I'm having as good a time.

The only other cheap rifle I really want is a 13xx carbine for my fantasized "walkabout".

My Gamo Fusion Whisper and Swarm Maxxim are light and not terrible for what they are but in stock form cannot hold a candle to the mid priced Beeman or Weirauch break barrels and most of the issue I have with the Gamo rifles is the gritty & heavy trigger. If the lower end rifles had better triggers the remaining required TLC would be easier to deal with. JMHO
I'm pretty sure that I'm done buying airguns too. In fact, I need to sell an HW97K and an HW30S to make room in the safe for the two AR-15's I've just acquired. What to do, what to do....?
I've already sold most of my Hatsan's and BAM's even though I did extensive tuning and stock work on them.I got to the point where I had to "let go" and buy quality, because I just wasn't shooting them anymore .However, I've kept the cheapest of the bunch -> QB's, as they're probably the best bang for the buck of ALL airguns .
Anyone that has fewer Air Rifles than me is a Loser.Anyone that has more than me is Lunatic.

One more confidence vote for buying used from a guy that knows his way around an air rifle!
Hey Guys,It's not that I'm loosing interest in airguns (Springer/PCP/Pumper), but given the guns I already own, I can't think of additional Air Guns to Buy that would be significantly better .I always error on the side of Cheap vs. Expensive, Lightweight vs. Heavy, Walnut over Beach, don't want a pistol, don't shoot over 75 yards and don't want anything over .22 caliber.I have a .20 caliber barrel on order from PA (it's been back-ordered for 3+ months) and that s/b fun when it arrives. However, I seem to be at a dead end (so to speak), ........ didn't like AA PS or TX.Are there any huge gaps that I'm missing .Thanks ............ Kirk
