No design difference.I just have a feeling the .20 barrel is made with tighter tolerances. And therefore more accurate. You have very few pellets to choose from and they need it to shoot well with all.And it does. But that's my thoughts. I'm probably wrong.

Quote from: Mark 611 on May 03, 2017, 07:25:24 PMI think u need a HW95 in .20cal!! or a 97 or R1 the big boy! but I think u'd be really happy with an HW95 or an R9 in 20! The .20 caliber barrel on order from PA since 1/31/17 is for my HW80 ; it will also fit my R9 .I think Weihrauch is still forging the barrel .Otherwise, to be honest ........ there seems to be NO significantly different or better gun out there to shoot and modify. I like doing the mods as much as shooting !

Anyone that has fewer Air Rifles than me is a Loser.Anyone that has more than me is Lunatic.
you get to far back off into PCP's you'll forget all about ur springer's LOL!! happened to yrs ago! so I sold off all of my Theobens and kept my springer's, but I will say I'm looking at buying an HW100s in .22cal, I'd kinda like to have another PCP and I like what I see in the HW100
Since you can only shoot one Rifle at a time, and you have over 20, maybe it would be a good time to take a break from purchasing more?I feel I have more than I need, and I am trying to adopt a sell one buy one policy going forward.

But I'm going to play with what I've got for a while and maybe do some mods.

But I'm going to play with what I've got for a while and maybe do some mods.I'm kind of at a different point. I have many. But shoot only a few. And I do want more rifles, even knowing I have many I won't shoot often. For me, I only have a few higher end rifles. The majority of mine were impulse buys, or tuner projects, or deals I couldn't turn down. And while these served their purpose at the time; wether it be as a project, curiosity, or just a plain old "fix", I don't really enjoy shooting them. I would like to pare my collection down to just those I actually enjoy shooting but... It can be hard to part with even the ones I don't shoot. Some of it is nostagia. Some of it is because I worked on them myself. Some I like to have just for reference. But if I knew now, what I didn't know then, I'd have a few more "good" rifles I actually enjoy shooting. And a lot less "cheap" rifles. Its kinda hard to set down my D48, or TX, Then pick up a crosman, and convince myself I'm having as good a time.
