I see in the One Hand Grip Class that newcomer, Kid Shelleen, shot pretty well and came in SECOND PLACE, while that odds-on favorite, Frodo, came in NEXT TO LAST. LOL. I saw a variation of this used in a Political Science class I took in college. Just couldn’t pass up the opportunity to use it here. Good shooting Frodo.
I shot for score last night but had to switch guns. I was going to use the P17 but a seal has been leaking and it got worse. The pellets were barely penetrating the cardboard so I used the CP1 instead. I've been trying to do a little work on the CP1 and was going to wait to try it until I could rework the grips a little but since the P17 pooped out I decided to give it a try. I started out great but I guess I lost my concentration and blew the last target with two 9's and an 8.Kid ShelleenCP1Open SightsMeisterkugeln 7 gr.Strong Hand Unsupported141/150 3X
Frodo, I know some people like the white/yellow dot on their front sights but for slow accuracy shooting I prefer the standard black. I guess I got accustomed to it because I used to shoot a lot of PPC matches when I was younger. I used a bright yellow/orange paint or insert on a couple of my guns that I used for faster shooting. Hey, I noticed that your CP1 rear sight looks like it is canted a little to the left. Mine is too, so I guess it's not too uncommon with these CP1's. I've only had mine a few weeks and I'm still trying to get comfortable with the angle of the grip. Did your's come with a grub screw for adjusting the trigger travel? Mine did, but it must have a ton of locktite on it because I can't budge it. When I have time I'm going to have to use a soldering iron to heat it and and try to break it loose.
