Paul,The bugbuster looks good when mounted. But, I do not think you will enjoy using it.I had one for two days and gave it away.IMHO
The lens as used in the BugBuster I had were terrible. If you use the center of the scope and nothing else it will be fine.Abberations, reflections, etc.
You asked. In addition to being an air traffic controller for 42 years, I was also a news photographer.I know a little bit about lens quality. We all agree you get what you pay for.The lens as used in the BugBuster I had were terrible. If you use the center of the scope and nothing else it will be fine. All of the bells and whistles, rings, sun cover, scope caps, batteries do make up for the poor lens quality in my mind.Abberations, reflections, etc.I said I gave mine away. The person I gave it to threw it away.I guess it might be OK for snapshots but if you are going to spend any time looking through it, you will soon have a headache. But, what do I know?
