Pros
Adjustable power- Love the huge range of adjustability. The gun is so flexible that it keeps things from getting stale.
20-25% increase in power from Travis's Tune.
. I get this information comparing data to a stock guns Chrony results posted on YouTube.
Smooth action- Very easy to cycle between shots. Reliable.
Nice magazines- I have had zero problems loading and firing pellets from day one. I’ve shot around 2,000 pellets of various shapes and weights. I’ve shot the rifle extensively at each setting. This includes shooting large/long pellets like the 25.4 gr. JSB Ultra Shock and Predator Polymags. Flawless action so far.
Smooth safety. It surprises me that I like this feature as much as I do. This might be because I’m also a shooter of a Brocock Contour that doesn’t have a safety. Still, this one is very nice.
Single shot tray is handy even though I’ve been too lazy to use it for more than 50 shots so far.
Accurate with range of pellet sizes but favors heavy pellets to light ones. I like this because it is very accurate with JSB Ultrashock 25.4 grain pellets that allow 35 FPE from the muzzle. It also likes every pellet I tested in the 16.0 grains and heavier.
Cons
Super high scope mounts required. Getting a good field of view is a pain. I have 1.5” extra high mounts on the rifle and even with my tiny noggin, I’d like the scope to be a smidge higher.
Despite having baffles added, it is still louder than I’d hoped (ping sound when fired). Adjustability helps a bit. It is much quieter at the lower settings, but I’d like even quieter.
Gun is inaccurate at two lowest power settings.
Does not like light pellets. Shoots 16.0 grain and above well.
Fill probe is finicky. It leaks air from the fill probe if you try to fill it too slow. This irritates me greatly and took a bit of getting used to.
Gauge is serviceable but seems to vary between fills. The rifle does not like to be filled all the way to 200 BAR. 175-180 BAR seems to be the ideal filling point.
Accuracy/Ammo
The most accurate setting for the rifle is the setting between medium and high. Several pellets can shoot 12 shot groups at about .5” at this setting from 25 yards. I chose to shoot 12 shot groups because it was often the case that the lighter pellets would group well for about 6 shots, but there would often be a flier than broke the group size wide open in 12 shot groups. The groupings would be MUCH tighter if I had recorded 6 shot groups. Plan on the grouping recorded in the spreadsheet being the largest you’d see and expect to be able to do significantly better. At 50 yards, it likes the JSB Ultrashock, JSB Jumbo Exact Heavy and Air Arms Diabolo Field Pellets. I was able to shoot several 6 shot groups under 1 inch with all three of these pellets. I never shot past 50 yards. Frankly, for the hunting I do, if the quarry is over 50 yards away, I try to sneak closer to take a better shot.
Summary/Final Verdict:
I was drawn to this gun because of the adjustability in an inexpensive package. I liked that the gun could be taken down to extremely low power levels because I occasionally take a shot at doves at 10 yards away in my backyard. I don’t want the pellets to go through the animal and potentially cause property damage somewhere behind the animal. Unfortunately, the gun is flat inaccurate at the two lowest settings, making them for the most part unusable. I probably shot 1,000 shots at the two lowest settings when I first got the gun in hopes of finding a workable combination. The Kral just did not want to cooperate.
I chose to pay a little extra to have Travis of Wicked Air Rifles tune and modify the gun to help moderate the sound, unleash a bit of untapped potential, and ensure I did not purchase a lemon. I couldn’t be happier that I did. The 35 FPE the rifle spits out when shooting JSB Ultrashocks is overkill for anything I’ll use the rifle for. I’ve shot 2 doves so far with the rifle at the Low/Medium setting from about 10-15 yards away. The gun more than does the job. However, so does an old .177 pump pellet gun I have laying around. The Kral is only marginally quieter than the .177 pump rifle at the setting I shoot Doves at.
Although I love the adjustability, reliability, and plinking fun with the rifle, the Kral has a loud ping when fired. I find myself reaching for my son’s Brocock Contour .22 with Weirauch moderator for most of my pesting needs. I am enjoying shooting the Puncher Breaker. It is accurate out to the 50 yards I have shot it as long as I stick to pellets that are 16 grains or heavier.
Feel free to take a look at the spreadsheet I used for the data above. Here is a link to the googledoc. Spreadsheet I used.
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/12lCLQPT2K4JaJlA4Q_cKGbysZynLy5raQ004HyHlV4g/edit?usp=sharing
I didn't spend much time collecting data for the two lowest settings for my spreadsheet. Trust me - the single 12 shot groups I included are a good representation. Don't put too much stock into the pressure readings from the table. I did my best to accurately read the gauge before and after each 12 shot group, but some estimation was required. Any missing data from the spreadsheet either means I forgot to record it, or in the case of the Med-High values for the JSB Jumbo Express the Chrony was giving me super-sonic readings (in the 1,400 FPS range!) that I knew to be bogus, so I deleted them.

Hey Brother, I have one mine was tuned by Baxter Walton. Gun shoots GREAT!! Accurate with JSB 16gr and GTO ammo. 4mags per fill under 1" at 55yds for a full mag! One thing I found she is hold sensitive off a bag. I hunt with her so most if my shots are off hand. Shoulders and points GREAT!!! I really love this gun. Baxter did a great job in tuning her.
There you go Fellas hope this info helps others.

That a really nice review, and will help a few others that have been wanting shooting data. It pains me to say this but have you tried cphp 14.3's? I hate them but my gun loves them & Jsb 13.43 for light pellets and you're spot on with the ultra shocks, that might be my favorite pellet right now.

I haven't tried the Crosman Premiers or the JSB 13.43 gr. I've shot up most of my supply of JSB Exact Jumbo Express 14.3 gr. I went sifting through some of my old targets that I hadn't thrown away yet and recovered a few the JSB Express. I'm including a pic of the Good, Bad, and Ugly. These targets are fairly representative of how most light pellets act in my gun, especially at lower settings.

And to compare, here is a typical pic of the JSB Ultrashock at the high setting.

I shot on the 2nd notch the cphp's 14.3's @ 9.5fpe & jsb 13.43's @ 9.1fpe out to 20yrds this morning after reading your post.
I want to find some 9grains .22's to see if I can shoot 4/5fpe.

The 9.56 gr. H&N Trophy Greens shot 9 FPE in my gun at the low setting. Looks like you'll be able to get lower. Accuracy resembled a shotgun blast. The fun part of shooting at low power is that you can actually see the pellet fly through the air and hit the target.
How was you accuracy at 9 FPE?

I have it backed down shooting 5.8fpe with the jsb 13.43's out to about 12/15yrds, the cphp 14.3's don't do as well under 9fpe, but i do need to go through them, I'm just taking out the tin.
